Congratulations to Bonnie Greene for her extraordinary achievement on 2007

Bonnie obtained a significant grant for the project Music Makers, a fantastic enterprise that endeavors to enrich the development of low-income children through the long-term mastering of music performance skills. Children are taught to play string instruments (mostly violin at the beginning of the project) in small-group classes and participate in performance ensembles. Among other goals, Music Makers seeks to bring young people of different backgrounds together in a community setting to share non-competitive music-making and to nurture a non-competitiev and cultrally rich environment to make music available to young people.
